House Threats From Within And External
Identifying threats is one of the basic fundamentals of Feng Shui. Not identifying or ignoring these negative energies, can cause much harm to the occupants, business owners and employees.
- Destiny Threats
Each person has a unique set of elements that influence his or her destiny. One common example is when a person born in a particular horoscope matches the present year of horoscope, is said to be in conflict with the governing energy or ruling authority. This can cause the person to have bad luck, loss of wealth, or health. If the person lives in a influential bad energy area, this actually enhances the already bad luck he or she has. Everyone has at least one threat in their destiny and should consult a geomancer to determine and find a solution to dissolving or avoiding the threat.
- Lights Threats
A house that is too bright discourages the accumulation of good energy and enhances negative feelings of people over a prolonged time. Dark spaces in the internal causes bad energies to overcome, causing a gloomy feeling, loss of apetite, depression and lack of energy.
- Colour Threats
Too bright a color theme in the house causes nervousness and health problems. Dark color theme in a house or house receving little sunlight can cause bad results and loss of wealth. Many commercial shops that tried to stick to a major theme color can sometimes experience bad business due to the continuous change of timing in Feng Shui. Using the wrong color, can sometimes enhance the already bad elements found in the person's destiny, thus causing more bad luck in their daily life.
- Environment Threats
These can be identified by flyovers with oncoming traffic, sharp corners of buildings or objects, narrow gaps between buildings, overhanging cliffs, areas prone to quakes, tsunami, mountains with loose rocks, huge trees or facing end of junctions or corridors. Common threats can occur as a house that is squeezed in and surrounded by tall buildings around. Negative results such as difficulty in accumulating wealth, and nervousness of occupants are likely. Too much water facilities nearby or flowing from a highly elevated ground is said to cause possible unhealthy romances and clouded judgements.
- Construction Threats
Demolishing of buildings nearby, road works, nearby renovation, patching of walls, maintenance of buildings, earth pounding or digging, upgrading can all be easily identified. Such conflicts bring about some restlessness in human and pets, and can cause injuries or life threatening issues. Untimely events like Grand Duke of Jupiter (Tai Sui, reigning star god of the year), Triple Threats (San Sha), Sickness (Wu Huang), or Quarelsome (Er Hei) can enhance the already bad influence of contruction threats on the family.
- Noise Threats
This threats are usually identifiable by noise of vehicles, crashing sounds of waves hitting cliffs or shores, entertainment sets from neighbours, nearby renovations, and piling works, etc. As long as the person feels uncomfortable or is disturbed by the threat, the consistent and perhaps persistant presence can cause frequent quarrels, poor relationships, mental disorder and losing of focus.
- Smell Threats
Our nose has the sense of capturing different kinds of smell and threats can be identified as anything that smells unpleasant. These can be garbage, food leftovers over days, discharge of smoke from factories, rotten items, swamps, accumulative built up of incense smoke from temples, mouldy items and dampness of materials. These threats over time encourage built up of unhealthy living and perhaps causing the family to fall sick.
- Engery Threats
These are invisible threats but in layman concept, it can be said to be caused by strong aerodynamics such as wind, and strong air current. Air that moves too fast creates a kind of threat as the overactive Yang energy rushes against the house. Such destructive energy can be created from a narrow gap between two buildings, a building standing alone on a high elevated ground, etc. Such threats can hint possible rheumatism, robbery or small thefts.
- Electronmagic Threats
Electric and magnetic waves can be harmful and its effects on people cannot be ignored. Electric cables, power lines, microwave overs, mobile phones has been constantly studied upon to check for harmful effects on human beings. Any invisible wave forms that converge or accumulates in an area where there are people living or having activities can result in relationship conflicts, loss of focus or even death.
